For many vehicle owners, selling this way is the safe, convenient alternative to doing it themselves. We will sell your car, truck SUV, or motorcycle.

To avoid the confusion that many people have about consignment sales, we explain below in plain English what you can expect from us and what we expect from you if you decide to consign your vehicle.

What you can expect from Ehrlich Subaru:

Lots of exposure for your car, truck or SUV. Our high traffic corner lot location guarantees people will see your vehicle. We also include your vehicle in our inventory on our website, Cars.com, Autotrader.com, Vehix.com, Craigslist,  and in various automobile advertising directories that generate calls from buyers throughout the region.

Professional sales team. Our company has been serving Northern Colorado for over 60 years with honesty and integrity. We know how to price, sell and finance automobiles. Every customer and every transaction is important to us.

We take trade-ins!  Many potential customers have a vehicle they want to trade. As a private owner you probably don't want to hear about trade-ins, but they are a big part of the automobile business. We welcome and encourage them.

Financing is available. We offer convenient, on site, major bank financing to our customers at competitive rates. Plus we are Members Direct with most credit unions in Colorado.

Advice and assistance. We can help you determine a realistic price for your vehicle, and advise you on repair or reconditioning issues.

CarFax: A CarFax report will be pulled on your vehicle to determine title history and marketability at no additional cost to you. This report will also be offered to potential buyers to assure them that they are getting a quality vehicle

What Ehrlich Subaru expects from you:

Complete information about your vehicle and its history. We want to know all the features and benefits of your vehicle so we can aggressively sell it. At the same time we have an obligation to disclose any known defects to potential customers and account for them. 

Safety Inspection: Prior to your vehicle being offered for sale, we must perform a Safety inspection of your vehicle. We have to make sure all vehicles we sell are road worthy and that the brakes, tires, exhaust system, windshield, fluid levels, lights, and suspension are in good condition and safe.

Vehicle Detailing: We want to make sure that your vehicle is standing tall both for our lot and when we present it on the Internet. Our professional detail department will make your vehicle shine! The cost of this service will vary depending on condition and the amount of detailing that needs to be done.

We retain the exclusive right to sell your vehicle during the consignment period. We appreciate your referrals and any other help you can provide, but during the consignment period (usually 30 days) we will still be paid a fee no matter who sells the vehicle. 

We need a photo copy of the title to your vehicle. If there is a lien holder, we need pay-off information and your written permission to get up to date pay-off information from your lender. When we sell your vehicle we have to convey the title to the buyer immediately, so it's important that we have these details arranged in advance.

You are still responsible for insuring your vehicle! Ehrlich Subaru cannot be responsible for loss or damage to your vehicle or its contents. We do our best to protect and secure our facility, but problems can still occur. If you are consigning a vehicle, for your protection we do require a copy of the drivers license and proof of insurance for any customers who test drive a vehicle. No one will ever be allowed on an unescorted test drive, and we reserve the right to refuse a test drive to anyone.

We need a reliable way to contact you if a sale is pending on your vehicle. In spite of all of our preparations, potential buyers might have last minute questions.
